Most Individuals Don’t Really Understand Wrongful Termination Laws and How They Apply to Them

Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012

NJ Business Employment Law | NJ Employment Lawyer | NJ Business LawyerIn essence a California employment lawyer can be brought in to defend workers who are sure that they have indeed been wrongfully cancelled from their work. Or there’s work harassment occurred. Successful cases can often result in the client being awarded financial compensation including stress and anguish caused due to the termination and a loss of salary, or re-instatement (if that’s what the worker wishes, and in a few cases, punishing damages. However the term ‘wrongful termination’ can in itself be inaccurate as many dismissals, firings or discharges that companies issue to employees, simply are not.

Though the law does come down really heavy on bosses that have broke the law, it is not all one sided and the employer does have some rights. Actually because a worker thinks that they’ve been a victim of wrongful termination, it might not mean the employer has violated any laws. As is often true, the laws surrounding this ‘rather cloudy’ issue are less than simple.

The Joys of My Actuarial Internship

Saturday, February 18th, 2012

I remember it like yesterday, the day I was accepted for my internship as an actuary. And it was all downhill from there.. Now that I’m on the subject I’d like to tell you that my career as an actuary has been quite lucrative. I miss those early days. Like every student trying to get out in the job market, I had a hard time at first getting into the job market. Once started, actuarial internships can prove quite useful. I found myself waking up earlier than ever before just to beat the crowd to the office. I demonstrated my work ethic in order to rise to the top, and that was all it took. I really believe that if you put in 110% on the eve of an university examination, you’ll go far in life. It’s not a hard job, it just requires a certain skill set. Sooner or later you’ll find out if you have what it takes.

Finding a Bit of Help Online

Thursday, February 16th, 2012

dawn's blog: Culture and History of SamoaI’ve never been very good at putting myself forward in writing. Well, at least when it comes to applying for a job. There’s just something about writing something to a person you’ve never met that renders me unable to put two words together. I think the problem here is pretty obvious when I mention that I found myself suddenly searching for a new job a couple months ago. Saying this was a stressful experience is an understatement. The lack of responses was really starting to get to me as well. That is, until I figured out how to make a cover letter for a resume. You know what the best way to go about it is? By finding a company that can help you with the process. I found a great group of people online that specializes in helping people put together a good resume and cover letter. They helped me with both online tools and one on one conversation. And, I’m happy to say, I now have a really great job.

Saturday, February 4th, 2012

Medical Office Assistant - Continuing Education at Kennesaw State ...As an old man running a medical clinic alone, I understand some of my friends’ sentiment that I need to hire a medical office assistant as soon as possible. They told me that I am looking older by the day because of all the stress I have to deal with daily running my own medical clinic alone. They said that hiring a medical office assistant would be a wise decision because she will be able to help me do things like feed the dog who guards the yard, clean the toilet and floors, or even do accounting work.

I realize that they are right. However, because my medical clinic is nothing but a small one and I often don’t ask for fees from people who are poor, I am afraid that I am cannot afford to hire a medical office assistant as of the moment. My clinic is a treatment clinic for the poor and I don’t get to earn a lot of money.
