The Easiest Way to Manage Your Amazon Account

Posted on May 24, 2022 | by Richard loiselle

The easiest way on earth to manage your Amazon account is through Seller Central. It's simple and convenient, but let me warn you — it still works. If you're doing this without some kind of automation, you'll be spending hours each day working on the most menial tasks. At the same time, you shouldn't ignore just how valuable those hours are. Amazon is the biggest marketplace in the world, and if you can master it, you will be able to find a gold mine.

If you're a serious Amazon Affiliate, managing your account can be quite a challenge. How often do you get reports on conversions, sales and expenses? It's easy to lose track of important details. Luckily, there is one tool that makes it simple to manage all these details: Personal Capital. You don't have to spend hours managing your Amazon checking account or analyzing sales reports.  You're looking to improve your Amazon account, but you've got no idea where to start. Look no further — this is the easiest way to manage your Amazon account so you can get those rankings, reviews and sales you need to succeed.

How to Easily Manage Your Amazon Account

Managing your Amazon account is a piece of cake, whether you're using the desktop website or the app. With just a few clicks, you can change your address, and payment information, and even delete your account. Here's how to do it.

Change Your Address

You may need to change your address if you're moving or planning on giving someone else access to your account. To do so, head to Manage Address Book under Settings on the desktop website or Account Settings in the app. From there, select Edit next to the address that needs updating, then enter new details into each field — street name, city, state/province/district/county, postal code and country — before clicking Save.

Update Your Payment Method

If you want to set up a new payment method for purchases on Amazon (credit card or debit card), go back to Manage Address Book under Settings on the desktop website or Account Settings in the app. From there select Edit next to Payment Methods and click Add A New Payment Method in order to add another credit card or bank account information. If you want to cancel an existing payment method from being used with Amazon.

4 Ways To Easily Manage Your Amazon Account

Amazon is one of the most popular online marketplaces in the world, and with over 300 million active customers, it’s no wonder why. Amazon has a ton of features that make it easy to manage your account. You can access your account from anywhere in the world, which is great for those who travel frequently or like to shop from multiple devices.

Here are a few ways to easily manage your Amazon account:

1. Manage Your Account Settings

Amazon gives you several options for  Amazon seller account management, including changing your payment method, managing shipping addresses and contact information, setting up notifications and more. You can even control how much information you share with Amazon (such as purchase history or wish lists).

2. Check Your Order History

If there are any issues with an order you placed or have concerns about your order status, Amazon lets you check on the progress of your shipments right from the website. You can also see the status of orders placed through third-party sellers using Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA).

3. Set up a budget

One of the best ways to manage your Amazon account is by setting up a spending limit. This is especially helpful if you have kids who aren't old enough to understand the value of money and are prone to impulse buys, or if you're trying to cut back on spending in general.

To set up a budget, go to Your Account > Settings > Manage Payment Options > Add a New Payment Method and choose "Use a Debit/Credit Card as my default." You can then set up an automatic payment method that will pull money from your bank account or debit card every month. From there, go back into Your Account > Settings > Manage Payment Options and select the payment method that should be used for purchases on Amazon.

4. Manage Prime benefits

If you're a Prime member, there are lots of great benefits included with your membership — like free shipping and access to Amazon Prime Video. However, sometimes there may be issues with how those benefits are being applied or used. If so, you can easily check or change your settings on your account page by clicking on Your Account in the top right corner of any page and then clicking Settings from the menu that appears under Contact Us at the bottom of that page. Under My Account Settings you'll see an option for Prime Benefits — click here to check out everything that comes with your membership!
